I
am also asking for volunteers at the No Kings 3 Protest on March 28th
that are willing to carry a clipboard and get signatures from the crowd
before the march starts. We will meet at 8:30 and canvass the crowd
before the march starts at 10:00am. Our tent will be set up down on the
Ramble where you can turn in your collected signatures and get your petitions
notarized after the march. Text or email me if you can help, and we can
make arrangements to get you supplies! This is going to be a great opportunity
to get a lot of signatures in one place.

Whether it's his illegal wars for oil abroad, or his blatant acts of fossil
fuel favoritism here at home, it's never been clearer that this is a fossil
fueled fascist regime. We need to show up and turn out to help everyone
connect the dots between Trump's lawless regime and the fossil fuel industry
that props him up, and cashes in big on his every action.

Millions
of people in the streets. Neighbors protecting neighbors. Communities
organizing against the hatred and pain that this administration wants to
inflict against us. The people, united, fighting against abuse from a president
who believes himself to be above the law.
That's
the vision of the No Kings movement – and it's why we're taking to the streets

President
Trump continues to escalate his abuse of power. He's unconstitutionally taken
us to war in Iran. At his direction, ICE has detained thousands of people in
inhumane conditions and deported thousands more. He's sent armed agents into
our neighborhoods to attack immigrants and protesters alike.
But
we, the people, aren't going anywhere, and we won't be silenced. . . .

ISRAEL AND US INVASION OF IRAN 2026 ANTHOLOGY #8
Dan Grazier.
“Are we on the precipice of World War III?”
ACURA (March 24, 2026).
Shortly after U.S. and Israeli bombs and
missiles began falling in Tehran, Iranian missiles flew in all directions at
U.S. bases in Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and others. The people
living in these countries were justifiably terrified, which was a likely
objective of those Iranian leaders who survived the first assaults. Tehran’s
strategy […]

. . .So,
if you don’t already know, the US attacked Iran for one reason and one reason
only: Israel. Israel, that Frankenstein monster created by the US and
Europeans, has been urging the US for decades to wage a destructive war against
Iran. The Israelis have finally achieved their desired outcome. If you think
this is an exaggeration, just listen to Netanyahu one day after the second
attack on Iran:
We are
in a campaign in which we are bringing the full strength of the IDF to the
battle, as never before, in order to ensure our existence and our future. But
we are also bringing to this campaign the assistance of the United States, my
friend, US President Donald Trump, and the US military. This coalition of
forces allows us to do what I have yearned to do for 40 years:
smite the terror regime hip and thigh. This is what I promised – and this is
what we shall do. (Statement by PM
Netanyahu – 1 March 2026)
All the
other justifications that have been given are pure nonsense. Iran does
not have a nuclear weapon and does not even have a plan to develop one.
According to the US’s own intelligence community, Iran halted its nuclear
weapons program in 2003. In recent years they enriched uranium to nearly 60
percent as a bargaining chip to remove stifling sanctions that had been imposed
on the country for more than four decades by the US and its European partners.
They tried repeatedly to reach an agreement with the US to limit the level of
enrichment and dilute their highly enriched uranium in exchange for sanctions
relief, but to no avail. Iran also does not have ballistic missiles that can
reach the United States. Iranian missiles can at best reach Southern Europe.
Thus,
Iran does not pose a threat to the US with either nuclear weapons or ballistic
missiles. Yes, the Islamic republic is brutal when it comes to dissent.
But the most brutal force and the greatest purveyor of violence in the world
today is Israel, and the US is not far behind. It is hard to believe that these
forces would ever worry about dissidents in Iran. Afterall, the US and Israel
had no objection to the violation of human rights by the Shah’s regime prior to
the 1979 revolution.
I
concluded my presentation in 2001 by stating that the US’s “regrettably
shortsighted policies” were only serving to prolong the life of the theocratic
government in Iran. It appears that after a quarter of a century, we have moved
beyond shortsighted policies into the realm of insane and criminal policies.
Regardless of how one labels the US policies, the outcome has been to ensure
the longevity of the theocracy in Iran. Consider this: an 86-year-old “supreme
leader” was succeeded by his 56-year-old son, a scenario that would have been
unlikely without the actions of the madmen in Washington and Jerusalem!

Killing Ali
Khamenei: Stupid, Catastrophic and Now No Turning Back.” CovertAction (3-15-26).
Forget Kaiser Wilhelm II’s blank check
to Austria-Hungary to wage war on Serbia in 1914; forget Adolf Hitler invading
the Soviet Union in 1941 and then declaring war on the United States just to
complete his imbecility. President Donald Trump’s decision to authorize, on
Israeli urging, the assassination of the Supreme Spiritual Guide of Iran,
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, tops them all.
Even by the contemptible standards of all our beloved neo-cons—in my 40
years covering Washington, they have multiplied like fleas, but not for much
longer—the sheer stupidity and superfluousness of this act defies belief.
After all, Khamenei was a dying man: He was in the last stages of cancer and he
and everyone else knew it; he was also 86 years old. There was nothing he
craved more in life than to be a heroic martyr for his faith. And the neo-con
geniuses who surround President Trump, along with the fatal fake Greek chorus
of fake macho warriors and “geniuses” on Fox News night after night—have
now granted him his most ardent wish....
Julia Conley. “ ‘Shameless’:
Critics Hammer Pete Hegseth for Claiming ‘We Didn’t Start’ War on Iran.” Common Dreams (Mar 02, 2026).
In the Trump administration’s first public remarks to
reporters on the strikes the US and Israel launched in Iran over the weekend,
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth blamed the Middle Eastern country for the
attacks that have killed at least 555 people there as well as at least four US
soldiers—and suggested Iran posed an imminent threat because of its defensive
military capabilities.
Hegseth
said the strikes that began early Saturday morning and included deadly attacks on children attending school
were “retribution” for Iran’s “savage, one-sided war against America” that has
played out for “47 long years” as the country has waged proxy attacks on the
US.
The defense secretary suggested that “the US went to war because Iran has
ballistic missiles and drones it has used as a deterrent or to respond to
US/Israeli attacks,” said journalist Jeremy Scahill.

Beginning

We
don’t want Trump’s war. Under 30% of responders to a recent poll said they
supported strikes on Iran. Iranian civilians are already suffering the

I have something to say because I’m my mother’s daughter
and because I need to straighten my shoulders and say this. It’s a little
statement about the war that is about to consume the world.
I know we are here today to talk about Mother Mary
Comes To Me. But how can we end the day without talking about those
beautiful cities—Tehran, Isfahan and Beirut that are up in flames? In
keeping with my Mother Mary’s spirit of candour and impoliteness I would like
to use this platform to say something about the unprovoked and illegal attack
by the United States and Israel on Iran. It is of course, a continuation of the
U.S.-Israeli genocide in Gaza. It’s the same old genocidaires using the same
old playbook. Murdering women and children. Bombing hospitals. Carpet bombing
cities. And then playing the victim.
But Iran in not Gaza. The theatre of this new war could
expand to consume the whole world. We are on the brink of nuclear calamity and
economic collapse. The same country that bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki could be
readying itself to bomb one of the most ancient civilizations in the world.
There will be other occasions to speak of this in detail, so here, let me
simply say that I stand with Iran. Unequivocally. Any regimes that need
changing, including the U.S., Israel and ours, need to be changed by the people,
not by some bloated, lying, cheating, greedy, resource-grabbing, bomb-dropping
imperial power and its allies who are trying to bully the whole world into
submission.
Iran is standing up to them, while India
cowers. I am ashamed of how gutless, how spineless our government has been.
Long ago we were a poor country of very poor people. But we had pride. We had
dignity. Today we are a rich country with very poor, unemployed people who are
fed on a diet of hatred, poison and falsehoods instead of real food. We have
lost pride. We have lost dignity. We have lost courage. Except in our movies. .
. .
Hints were dropped, through the evening, that something would happen at
the end worth waiting for—“a reading”, “a message I want to share”. And when
she made her final statement, standing firmly with Iran and condemning an
Indian government that cannot bring itself to do so, the audience got on their
feet to show her they felt the same way. Responding to the standing ovation,
she flashed a smile and a victory sign with her hand.
In Delhi, we always fight back.
Through the evening, she had held the audience’s attention
and hearts. And as they rose in support of her statement, perhaps the audience
had her heart, too.

The
U.S. war on Iran is not a miscalculation. It is not a strategic blunder by an
overconfident Pentagon. It is the predictable outcome of the global class
war–the drive of monopoly capital to maintain control over the world’s
