Moby Dick “demands a response beyond mere
resistance. It aims for a change in people’s perception and beliefs, and
demands that they stop capitulating to a society that in order to maximize
profits and power, must control and
destroy. . . .For Melville, that means one thing only: All killing must stop”
(p. 42). [Moby Dick is usually
listed among the greatest of US novels.]

Days” and other news. “ICN Sunday

Go
behind the scenes with executive editor Vernon Loeb and reporter Kiley Bense as
they discuss the impact of Trump’s first 100 days on the environment.
Seven ICN reporters came
together to produce a comprehensive analysis of the Trump administration’s
orders, pronouncements and actions on climate that, environmentalists fear, may
set the country back decades. Kiley
explains what it was like to knit together multiple dispatches from her colleagues
who spoke with 16 different sources – including the White House.
