Annie Leibovitz: Pilgrimage
Annie Leibovitz: Pilgrimage
Pilgrimage is an evocative and deeply personal statement by a photographer whose career now spans more than forty years, encompassing a broad range of subject matter, history, and stylistic influences. Unlike her staged and carefully lit portraits made on assignment for magazines and advertising clients, the photographs in this exhibition were taken simply because Leibovitz was moved by the subject.
Women at Work
Women at work image

This collection was compiled by the United States National Archives and Records Administration, drawing from its nationwide holdings, and depicts the role of women in the workforce throughout our national life.

As they navigate her escape and journey to Ohio, they discover that life in the “free” North is dangerous and difficult. In 1850, the Fugitive Slave Act brings disaster. Will Lucy ever truly be free? (Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and CPB)
The Women of Four Wars
The Women of Four Wars
