Cutting the Military Budget

Pentagon Math
Hey, have you heard?
Republicans in the House struck a deal with President Obama to avoid a government shutdown – but only for two weeks.
But with less than 14 days to find billions in savings there's still NOBODY talking about the Pentagon budget - even though that's where more than 50% of tax dollars are spent.
So I signed on with the not $1 more campaign. They're calling on Congress to stop spending ANY more money on war and weapons. And they've got a funny new video that explains why:

Watch for yourself and learn how “Pentagon Math” is different than “civilian math” and what it means for over $500 billion of our tax dollars.   Forwarded by Carl.

This Blog is concerned with the US Security Warfare State.   For readers who seek a rationale for devoting a classroom exclusively to a minority point view, without giving the other side, see my article in College English.  My thesis is that the great power of the Security-Empire-Corporate-Military-White House-Congressional-Mainstream Media Complex already has overwhelming access.
