So sad.

Some Holocaust love stories are true. The NY Times featured a story about the famous comic book artists Stan Lee and Neal Adams and a story they were publicizing.

The story is about Dina Gottliebova Babbitt who was a 19 year old art student at Auschwitz. There she was asked by the Jewish head of the children's camp to paint something to cheer them up. Dina painted a mural of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and in the end, Dina's art became the reason for her salvation.

Painting the mural for the children caused Dina to be taken in front of Dr. Mengele, the Angel of Death. She thought she was going to be gassed, but she bravely stood up to Mengele and he decided to make her his portrait painter, saving herself and her mother from the gas chamber.

After the war, Dina applied for a job to be an animator and the person interviewing her turned out to be the man who created Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs for the movie. They fell in love and got married. Show White saved Dina's life twice!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2151229136087998997.post-18733953701704178252008-08-06T10:37:00.000-05:002008-08-06T10:37:00.000-05:00How to understand the War on Terror!A lot of misun...How to understand the War on Terror!

A lot of misunderstandings and lack of communication leads to terrible relationships.

Check out this website with audio and video and the way we frame issues.

Islam and Muslims in the west.

www.HotConflict.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2151229136087998997.post-46016892703502034092008-08-06T00:36:00.000-05:002008-08-06T00:36:00.000-05:00Most people are a bit in the dark about an incredi...Most people are a bit in the dark about an incredibly important facet of our history -- how women won the vote.

Now finding out is as easy as opening your e-mail.

"The Privilege of Voting" tells the sexy, shocking truth of HOW the suffragettes won the vote.

It is a new historical e-mail series that goes behind the scenes in the lives of eight well-known women from 1912 to 1920 to reveal the many exciting and surprising twists and turns that played into women finally winning the vote in England and America,

The women depicted include two of the most beautiful and outspoken suffragettes -- Alice Paul and Emmeline Pankhurst, along with Edith Wharton, Isadora Duncan, Alice Roosevelt, and two stunning presidential mistresses.

But this is no boring history report!
